Laurel and Larkspur are a bonded male/female pair of 11 year old Pacific Parrotlets. Many consider these guys micro Amazons, but this pair are more of the shy type. They have lived together their whole lives and do everything together. They love to make sweet little squeaks to each other and Larkspur can even wolf whistle. They have the capability to talk, but I’ve never heard any words from them. They’ll be a great low maintenance companion for someone just looking for some liveliness in their home. they aren’t used to being out of their cage and need to have some part of their cage covered for safety and comfort at all times, so we recommend getting them a decent medium sized flight cage and allowing them to live out the rest of their lives in a stress free environment near other bird friends.

Application, safe home checklist, and video calls are necessary for adoption. In person home visits are not required and there is no distance cut off… You just have to come pick them up and sign paperwork once these requirements have been met.

Dear, sweet Buddy has been through far too much in his life. He was a retired breeder and lived with this owner for about a year and a half. He’s already 15 years old, which is considered a senior for a Rosella, but his harrowing backstory has certainly not been good for him. He lived in a small cage most of his life and would fall often, likely due to the condition of his feet. He can’t perch well, but has begun to learn how as pictured… He’s got platforms all over the cage to catch him when he falls. At some point he suffered a fractured wing, fractured keel, and massive head trauma that caused severe sinus swelling. It’s taken him MONTHS to recover since arriving, having collapsed and almost dying on us the day he came in. He tends to panic when you get too close and he’s certainly a hands-off bird, but so beautiful and darling to have near.
