  • DUSTY

A fitting name for a grey, Dusty is a 26 year old male Timneh Parrot who has lived with his person his whole life. Funny enough, he actually hated his owner and took every chance to bite her. Dusty is by far a man’s bird. It’s unknown who he will like yet, as he just arrived. Like most greys, Dusty is skittish about new things and relies on routine to be happy. He’s a great flier, but doesn’t really get handled ever. He’s a fabulous talker if you’re not in the room. Dusty has to be kept away from anything nesty, or he becomes absolutely unmanageable for anybody. This includes rope perches, papers, towels, etc. He’s a great eater and could probably be quite happy with an EXPERIENCED man devoted to his long term care.

  • JESSIE

Jessie is a female Congo Grey of unknown age, but at least 15. She is so far pretty shy, but likes to talk and is willing to interact with people. She’s got potential to be fairly easy going but will need plenty of time, patience, and understanding to come out of her shell. Jessie knows how to step up, but really takes comfort in her cage and she tends to become very frightened when anything new is brought nearby-sometimes resulting in a fall in the cage. Her only medical issue is the feather destructive behavior, which MIGHT improve over time.

  • MACKEY

Mackie is a male Timneh of unknown age, at least 15. He came in with Jessie CAG and were from the same home originally, even before his current owner. Mackie is quite the feather plucker, shredding his wings and tail very often. He has been doing this for a long time and as such is unable to fly and has poor balance. Mackie is skittish but so far fairly non aggressive. An experienced home would be best for him, or someone devoted to his recovery long term. As time goes on, he’s shown equal feelings towards men and women, and doesn’t want to step up or be touched.
